Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV personality in the United States as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides straightforward and simple methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell is also a part of some of New York's top eateries, learned about Italian food, its culture and traditions, and participated in Food Network's Iron Chef America. Burrell, who grew up living in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stage for her when she earned the Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great adventure. I couldn't learn enough couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. The chef gained an appreciation of Italian culinary and cultural traditions during her stay in Italy, which has influenced her cooking style. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten the lives of kids facing problems. Burrell is also an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador who promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. She talks about her culinary love and imparts her knowledge of the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in the roles of mentors and speakers. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne has often said that I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my passion in life with others.
